The 6th International Congress of Pathophysiology "Gene-environment interaction in health and disease" in collaboration with the 14th International SHR Symposium "Ecogenomic models of Cardiometabolic Diseases"

Welcome

Message from the President:

The organization of the 6th International ISP Congress and 14th International SHR Symposium in Montréal is moving ahead successfully. With our partners we continue working to ensure the highest caliber meeting for all participants.

Much effort has been spent on creating a balanced and dynamic scientific program. Under the shared banners of "Gene-environment interaction in health and disease" and "Ecogenomic models of cardiometabolic diseases", the three primary themes of the Congress are:

  1. Pathophysiological pathways of health and diseases
  2. Novel pathophysiological approaches and tools
  3. Novel therapeutic/diagnostic pathophysiological targets

We have confirmed more than 80 renowned speakers to address delegates in keynote presentations, workshops and symposia. The latest updates to our exciting program are all posted on the Program page.

The meeting site, Palais des Congrès/Montréal Convention Centre, is readying itself to receive all delegates. This exceptional, modern venue is located in the heart of downtown Montréal, connecting the city’s business centre, international district, arts and entertainment quarter, Chinatown and the unforgettable Old Montréal. With an abundance of natural light, generous meeting rooms, an easily traversable layout and exceptional accessibility, the Palais des Congrès is an ideal setting for our event.

In addition to the prestigious program planned for the ISP and SHR meeting, delegates are sure to enjoy their stay in Montréal, one of top cities in the world for international conventions. Cosmopolitan and accessible, Montréal well deserves its solid reputation for innovative gastronomy, outstanding galleries and museums as well as an exciting calendar of cultural and sports events throughout the year. A city of contrasts, it juxtaposes its European ancestry in a new world setting, with towering glass and steel skyscrapers beside neo-gothic cathedrals and the everyday use of both French and English in shops and on the streets downtown.

We look forward to greeting you in September for an invaluable scientific exchange and a delightful visit to our city.
